Yoram Laredo, head of the National Emergency Authority, announced today (Friday) the plan to evacuate and refresh the communities close to the border fence with Gaza. As part of the plan, communities located up to 4 kilometers from the Gaza Strip will be completely evacuated from their residents. Authorities located 4-7 km away will be added to the "Wind Breeze" program, in which they will be able to leave the communities for a limited period of time under state indemnification.
As part of the Safe Space Plan, which will be applied immediately to communities located near the Gaza Strip, IDF forces will evacuate the population in light of the immediate risk. These are 25 communities in the south.

In cities such as Sderot, which are 4-7 km from the fence, it is recommended that the population go out to freshen up. They are not evacuated by order, but the state allows them to be refreshed by state indemnity. This is the fourth time that this format has been implemented, in which the local authority manages the exit of its residents to the hospitality facilities.
The program was implemented yesterday in Sderot throughout the coming week. Rachel is considering operating it soon on the city of Ashkelon as well.

The budgetary cost of the indemnity is NIS 320 per person per day and there are multiples according to the amount of evacuees.
