The Israeli army has given this morning the order that all Palestinians living in the north of the Gaza Strip leave the area within 24 hours "for their own safety and protection". The US has not rejected the ultimatum, although it has affirmed that it will be "a complicated task", while the head of diplomacy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, has considered that the movement, which involves displacing 1.1 million people, is "unrealistic". Doctors Without Borders said Israel had given it until six a.m. to evacuate a hospital, an extension of an original two-hour deadline. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned, however, that his military offensive against Hamas is "only the beginning" after the Islamist militia warned the Gazan population this morning to ignore the Israeli alert, which he has described as "false propaganda". Meanwhile, on the border with Lebanon, Hezbollah and Israel have exchanged fire and a Reuters journalist has been killed after an Israeli bombardment.

Israel's military says more than 120 civilians still kidnapped by Hamas in Gaza Strip
The Israeli army said Saturday on its Twitter account that it is aware that there are still 120 civilians in Gaza kidnapped by Hamas in the attack a week ago in Israeli territory. The Brigades of Ezedin Al Qasam, the armed wing of Hamas, announced on Friday the death of 13 (foreigners, among them) of the hundred hostages they have in Gaza by one of the 6,000 bombs dropped on the Strip since Saturday, according to data from the general commander of military aviation, Tomer Bar.
Last Saturday's Hamas attack was the largest on Israeli territory, with 1,400 dead, in addition to more than a hundred kidnapped. The Israeli retaliation, which has since continued to bomb the Strip, has claimed the lives of 1,800 Palestinians and injured more than 6,300.

Israel accuses Hamas of using 'civilians as human shields'
Jonathan Conricus, the spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces, recalled on the social network X (formerly Twitter) the Israeli army's warning to Palestinian civilians to move south. According to him, a significant group of Palestinians have heeded Israel's demand, and he has criticized Hamas for "discouraging these transfers," accusing them of using "civilians as human shields." Meeting between China and the Arab League to discuss the crisis in Gaza
An emergency meeting was held on Friday between representatives of the Arab League in China and the country's special envoy to the Middle East. The reason for the session was the crisis in the Gaza Strip, according to a statement from China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Tens of thousands of Palestinians flee south after Israeli ultimatum
Tens of thousands of Gazans are fleeing south after Israel gave Palestinians a 24-hour ultimatum to evacuate the northern Gaza Strip, home to more than 1.1 million people, in the face of a possible invasion, the United Nations humanitarian office said early this morning.
Before the evacuation order, more than 400,000 Palestinians had been internally displaced due to the fighting, the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said in a statement posted on its website.

Israel strikes Hezbollah target in Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reports that it has attacked a target of the pro-Iranian Hezbollah militia, in southern Lebanon, in response to the "infiltration of unidentified aerial objects into Israel."
The Lebanese guerrillas, which were already almost drawn in the battle it waged in 2006 against the Israeli army, have tens of thousands of militiamen hardened during a decade of war in Syria and with more than 200,000 rockets aimed at the Jewish state.
