A Hamas IED laboratory in Azzun was destroyed and dozens of wanted members of the terrorist organization were detained Saturday night during an operational activity by the security forces throughout Judea and Samaria.
The laboratory destroyed by engineering forces in the village of 'Azzun in the Ephraim Brigade area was used to manufacture and store IEDs and other explosives belonging to Hamas operatives. When the forces leave the village, they will be shot in the face. The force responded with live fire into the air.

During the activity of IDF, Shin Bet and Border Police forces in a number of locations in Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley, 56 wanted Palestinians suspected of involvement in terrorist activity were detained and large quantities of weapons were confiscated. Twenty-five of the detainees were Hamas operatives, two of them senior figures in Nablus: Adnan Asfour, 25, from Nablus, a Hamas operative in the leadership ranks; and Ahmed Awad, 58, from Nablus, a Hamas operative involved in incitement.
In addition, in the arrest carried out in the village of Jiftlik, large quantities of weapons were seized, including two pistols, two M16 weapons, military equipment and ammunition. During a disturbance in the area of the village of Qalil in the Samaria Brigade, a force apprehended a suspect with a pistol.

In recent days, businesses from the villages of Silwad and Birzeit have posted ads inciting and encouraging terrorism. As a result, Central Command General Yehuda Fuchs signed an order to seal them. During the withdrawal of the forces from Silwad, stones and prosecution cocktails were thrown at the force, without causing damage or casualties.
Since the beginning of the Iron Swords War last week, some 280 wanted persons, 157 of whom belong to Hamas, have been detained in Judea and Samaria and in the Jordan Valley Brigade.
