Maya Wertheimer joins Israel's propaganda effort on social media. On Saturday, she appealed directly to Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri to clean up and delete incorrect information posted on the platform under his direction, which causes damage to the State of Israel in times of war. Wertheimer was not satisfied with this, but also appealed to web surfers to exert pressure on Mosseri on the matter.

"A moral man, what's going on with you? How do you not run a war room on Instagram to take down pages that call what is happening here a 'lie' and that it didn't happen? You're first Israeli and Jewish, then a senior employee at Instagram!" Maya reminded him. "Now is your time to join Israel's propaganda system and help it at least block demonization of Israel and pages and posts claiming that nothing happened," she added. "You sleep standing, wake up!" she demanded of Mosseri toward the end of her speech. "We are being slaughtered," she cried.

Just before she signed her story, Wertheimer appealed to her followers to join the fight over Israeli propaganda on social media. "Please tag Adam on every page and problematic post that arises on his own," she wrote to users.
Instagram has yet to respond to a request for comment.
