Chocolate fudge ice cream recipe

Components

Slightly softened chocolate ice cream (about 400g)
175g dark chocolate chips
2 tsp. coconut oil Toppings
Ideas: Candied ginger, chopped natural almonds, chopped popcorn, hibiscus flowers, coconut, candies, chia seeds, cocoa fragments, peanut butter powder.

Instructions

1. Fill 6 popsicle molds with softened chocolate ice cream. Use a spatula or spoon to fill the molds. Put the lids and sticks in place and freeze the popsicles for at least 2-4 hours.

2. When the popsicles are frozen, prepare the chocolate glaze by combining chocolate chips with the coconut oil in a bowl that can be heated in the microwave. Microheat for 20 seconds each time the chocolate melts and has a smooth texture. If it is too hot, it is important to allow the puree to cool slightly.

3. Prepare the toppings so that they are accessible and ready to use immediately after dipping and dripping the chocolate on the popsicles.

4. When everything is ready and the chocolate is liquid, but not too hot, remove the popsicles from the pan and place them on a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum. One by one, dip the ice cream in the chocolate or drizzle the chocolate over the ice cream. Choose your favorite toppings and sprinkle over.

5. Finish dipping and decorating all the popsicles and return the pan to the freezer for about 30 minutes to an hour to allow the popsicles to harden.
