After the killing of a senior member of the Nakhba force who led the raid on the kibbutzim: The IDF continues its focused operations throughout the Gaza Strip and today (Monday) assassinated the head of general intelligence of the Hamas terrorist organization in Khan Yunis. During the past 24 hours additional strategic targets were attacked, including underground targets and rocket launching positions.

The IDF reports aggressive use of fire in the Gaza Strip and claims "unprecedented in the past." The forces attack dozens of operatives of the terrorist organizations every day, alongside attacking infrastructure, weapons depots, and preparing the area for the next stage - the ground maneuver.

Any target for which there is a question of proportionality and fear of harm to uninvolved civilians is carefully examined, but the IDF is determined not to allow terrorists to use civilians as human shields, and notes that they will reach any terrorist even if he hides under a hospital or in an ambulance. The military also notes that the attacks are carried out in Gaza despite the presence of the abductees, while being aware of what is happening on the other side and using appropriate techniques.

The IDF also explains that the rocket fire from the Gaza Strip will continue, but we can already see a reduction in the scope of rocket fire, with "only" 100 rockets reported yesterday, while in previous days these numbers reached 1,000. In recent days, the IDF has noted that the decline in the scope of rocket fire is also related to the armaments economy of the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip.

This is not the only documentation that reveals the IDF's activity in the Gaza Strip as part of an iron sword war. On Saturday, IDF fighter jets, under intelligence guidance from the Shin Bet, killed Bilal al-Qudra, commander of the Nakhba force in Hamas' southern Khan Yunis battalion, who was responsible for the murderous raid on Kibbutzim Nirim and Nir Oz. In addition, other operatives in the Hamas terrorist organization and Islamic Jihad were eliminated.
