Ten days after the Simchat Torah massacre and the beginning of the Second War of Independence, it seems that the leadership has not yet concluded the most important of all: the enemy on our borders has been instructed by the Iranian patron to act aggressively against Israel, this happened in the south and has been taking place for a week on the Lebanese border, where six dead, wounded and dozens of fire incidents are already being counted.
The Iranian order to Hezbollah to act against the soldiers stationed at the border is familiar to the fighters stationed there, along with the exhausting fire on the home front in the north, which effectively paralyzes life there as well. Just as in the south before Simchat Torah 5724, Israel is defending, evacuating settlements, building military fortresses, and the leadership in Jerusalem, as well as army officers, are wrestling with the question of what Hezbollah wants, when the address, like in the south, is bleeding on our border.
Over the past week, Hezbollah operatives have hit not only fighters but also the infrastructure of a variety of observations deep inside Lebanon, which are supposed to warn of various threats. The organization's statement said that Israel had been blinded. Even worse, it seems that they have succeeded in blinding Israel mentally.

Iran, through Hezbollah, has declared war on Israel and is doing so through a war of attrition, and Israel is still demanding that Hezbollah be careful instead of looking hard at the organization and the actions and responding accordingly.
The last residents of Metula to evacuate wept, they wept over the fact that once again so many Jews are forced to take a bag and leave their own homes. The Israel Defense Forces stutters, Israeli citizens wander. If this war ends when Hezbollah and Radwan's forces remain on the border, it is doubtful who will return to live in the nearby communities when we saw the morbid execution on our southern border.
The blindness now is not only operational – on the northern border it is leadership. There is no leader who will decide that so far, not for a war of attrition, not for Iranian forces so close to the border, and not for concepts of deterrence. Israel's only option that desires life is to destroy the enemy's capabilities. And beautiful one hour earlier.
