Israel's defense establishment has turned to cyber and digital espionage companies NSO and Candiro to help locate the abductees in the Gaza Strip, Bloomberg News Agency reports.
According to four cyber sources, the two companies on the US blacklist were asked to quickly upgrade their espionage capabilities to meet the demands of the defense establishment. Candiro and NSO work together on requests and offer most of their services for free.

The Defense Ministry did not respond to Bloomberg's request for comment. The IDF Spokesperson and NSO declined to comment. Candiro said in a statement that "the company is ready to assist the war effort in any way possible."
