Palestinian workers are expected to return to the main industrial zones in Judea and Samaria on Sunday, with the most rigorous inspection. The approval was given to about 50 percent of the workers. As far as is currently known, there is no authorization to bring workers into Israeli cities, and this is subject to the decision of the political echelon.

Recently, after about three weeks of complete halt of activity, business owners and factories contacted the Central Command and asked to re-approve the entry of workers into large industrial zones, such as Barkan and Mishor Adumim. According to them, their activity has been frozen and they are on the verge of collapse. In response, the Central Command approved the entry of workers in a smaller quantity than in the past and with very strict inspection.

The decision published in Judea and Samaria was met with anger from the residents, who claimed that it was a danger and that Palestinian workers should not be employed during wartime. At least two demonstrations are expected to take place on Saturday night against this decision, one near the Meitarim industrial zone and another in front of the home of Central Command General Yehuda Fuchs in the kibbutz where he lives in the Sharon.

"The planners of the next massacre are not with us!" one message read. "Yehuda Fuchs, the head of the Central Command, authorizes Hamas supporters to return to work in the industrial zones. We will not agree to this. They don't bring in Arab workers! In our souls it is!"

A security source told Israel Hayom that the decision was made following requests from factory owners and not as an initiative of Central Command. "If someone wants to hold a demonstration, Central Command is not the address. It was the factory owners who asked for the workers' income."

Earlier this week, various communities in Judea and Samaria began bringing in Israeli Arabs for cleaning work. This move also drew public anger from residents who currently do not want any Arabs in their communities because of the war.
