It is suspected that the 37-year-old suspect left his home in the city towards the scene of the murder disguised as the ruler "Walt" and with a branded bicycle from the courier company, while hiding the gun he later used in his bag. After shooting Musa, who was seriously wounded and died of his wounds that evening, the masked suspect fled the scene and arrived at an address in Tel Aviv, where he changed his clothes and the bicycle he was riding with at the time of the murder – and even returned to the scene with other clothes and bicycles.
SWAT detectives arrested the suspect on October 3 in Tel Aviv, during which they seized items belonging to the suspect suspected of being connected to the murder. The suspect's detention has been extended from time to time, and in recent days a prosecutor's statement was filed against him on suspicion of aggravated murder and conspiracy to commit a crime and weapons offenses, ahead of the indictment to be filed against him by the Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office.
