Strikes outside a Palestine Red Crescent hospital
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society on Tuesday expressed alarm at strikes outside one of its hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip, where civilians have taken refuge to protect themselves from Israeli bombardment. "Continued artillery and airstrikes in the Tel al-Hawa area of Gaza where al-Quds Hospital is located," the organization wrote on the social network X (formerly Twitter). "The building is shaking and displaced civilians and teams are in fear and panic," she added. The Red Crescent had already reported shelling in the area on Sunday evening.
The director of the hospital told AFP that he had received orders to evacuate from the Israeli army.
