Some passengers prefer to sit by the window, others prefer an aisle seat. Other factors could also play a role in the choice of seat.
If you are spoilt for choice, you have a choice. This applies to holidays, especially on the plane, when you have to decide between a window seat or an aisle seat when making your reservation, for example. Depending on your personal preference, which is actually the ideal seat on the plane? This question was once addressed by the TikToker known as @jeenie.weenie, who revealed in one of her earlier videos – at the time in the role of a flight attendant – what is particularly important from her point of view when choosing a seat in economy class. Not everyone shared her personal point of view on TikTok.
Which seats on the plane are suitable, and which are not?
The British newspaper TheSun had reported at the time on the remarks of the former flight attendant, who used to work for Emirates. On TikTok, according to The Sun, she explained how to find the best seats in row 57 in seats C, D, F or G on an airplane with 49 rows. As a result, the TikToker advised against many other seats, such as within a row in the middle, and also excluded the back rows in the respective section, for example, because you can't lean back accordingly there, at least that's her view of things.
Legroom is crucial when choosing a seat on an airplane?
Legroom or not: The so-called bulkhead seats behind a partition, which some passengers prefer to sleep on because of the comfort, are also of no interest to the TikToker personally. She is not a big person and does not need these places, she described in the video, explaining among other things that from her point of view there is not enough space there to accommodate personal belongings.
Many prefer the window seat – others prefer to sit in the aisle
Many passengers like to sit by the window on the plane because they have a little more peace and quiet there, or because of the view. The TikToker explains why she personally doesn't prefer the window seat on the plane – because otherwise she would have to ask the other people to stand up for her. According to the report, she personally prefers to sit in the aisle. And apart from that, I can't recommend the seats next to the toilet.

From the TikToker's point of view, another aspect plays a role in the choice of seats on the plane, as The Sun further reported: From where the food is served. Since, according to the TikToker, food and drink on the plane are usually "served from front to back", she revealed which seats were ultimately left from her point of view - if you don't want to be at the back here, so to speak.
From the point of view of the former flight attendant, the four places mentioned were ultimately left, as it says in the Sun's report on the compromise she made. As can be seen from the report, these are aisle seats that tend to be located in the middle of the aircraft. Further ahead, at least according to the TikToker, the rows are occupied more quickly - which, she concludes, could increase the probability that you have a person sitting next to you.
Apart from the fact that this is only a theoretical example, as well as a very personal point of view, which was described in the video at the time: Tastes are often fundamentally different when it comes to choosing a seat on the plane. Ultimately, everyone has to decide for themselves what is most suitable for them personally. Apart from that, how the seats are located depends on the respective aircraft.
