Israeli airlines continued to work during the war. This morning, El Al announced that in addition to more than 30 destinations to which the airline flies, it will add direct flights to two new destinations, one of which it stopped flying a little more than a year ago.
The airline's first destination is Warsaw, Poland. Israelis who are in Warsaw say that there is a large Jewish and Israeli community that is there right now, "They come here mainly because of the low risk, Israelis feel safe here because Poles are very tough with extremists and therefore the demand here is high."
Flights to Warsaw will operate as early as next Wednesday, November 8 and will operate on Monday and Wednesday. In a statement, El Al clarified that "the flights were added due to demand from the local community and in order to preserve the air bridge between Israel and Poland." The flights will be operated by its subsidiary, Sun d'Or.

The other destination is Chisinau, Moldova. Some passengers on flights to Chisinau go overland to Ukraine, where a war is raging, but there is still a large Jewish community there and many of them leave and enter the country. Flights to Chisinau will be operated on Sundays and Thursdays from November 9, also operated by Sun d'Or.
At the same time, Arkia announced its new flight schedule for November. Due to the demand, Arkia will also operate direct flights to Warsaw, alongside flights to Paris that have been added to the airline's flight schedule. In addition, the airline will also operate flights to Athens, Larnaca, Chisinau and Belgrade.
