Elhanan Klein, 29, from Einav in Samaria, was murdered Thursday morning in a shooting attack on the road between Shavei Shomron and Einav, near the village of Beit Lid in Samaria. The terrorists' vehicle overtook and fired at Klein's vehicle, which was on its way home from reserve duty. Klein was hit by the gunfire and lost control and his vehicle swerved and overturned. The terrorists' vehicle continued driving, and now many IDF and Border Police forces are searching the area and deploying extensive roadblocks in the area.

Elhanan Klein, who was killed in a shooting attack in northern Samaria, was the fighter who neutralized an attack a year and a half ago near the community of Bat-El

Elhanan, a father of three, received a certificate of excellence from the commander of the Judea and Samaria Division a year ago for eliminating a terrorist. Elchanan grew up in the community of Shadmot Chola, his wife, a sports teacher at the Har Bracha school, is pregnant with their fourth son.

"The terrorists' time is limited"

"Only the other day we demanded that this road from Nablus, which leads towards Einav, be closed to traffic," Samaria Council head Yossi Dagan said in response to the unfortunate announcement. "After two days of pleading, after another shooting attack that was already here, we received an incomplete blockade and not a full inspection. We pay here in blood."

The IDF Spokesperson, who issued a statement at the same time, referred to the attack and said that "the IDF is very busy thwarting terrorism in Judea and Samaria," and that "this will continue over the weekend." A military source said, "We experienced a very serious attack, in a broad counterterrorism operation we prevented tens, maybe hundreds, of attacks since the beginning of the fighting, unfortunately we did not succeed in this attack. The terrorists' time is limited, we will chase them and their collaborators from the ground and from the air and settle accounts with them."

In a statement, Shadmot Mehola said, "We embrace the Klein family, his wife Hila and his three children. The time and location of the funeral will be announced later. We have raised up nations with him, for the blood of his slaves will arise, and vengeance will return to his enemies and the village of his land will be with him."

Following the attack, Samaria Council head Yossi Dagan said: "Only the other day we asked to close the road from Nablus, and in the name of containment we did not respond. Floppy disks must be replaced in Judea and Samaria like in Gaza. We all understand from the day that the murderer's family will start receiving a salary from the terrorist Palestinian Authority, this is a reward for murdering Jews."

He added: "We all strengthen the IDF fighters and security forces. I say to the government – the people are behind you to deliver a murderous blow, but in the meantime we are suffering blow after blow. These are the same Nazi terrorists who are being forgiven by Hamas, but also by the Palestinian Authority's Fatah. The terrorists in Judea and Samaria should receive the same treatment as their Nazi comrades in Gaza. We are not willing to pay in blood, neither in the Gaza envelope nor in Judea and Samaria."

Einav said: "It is with great sorrow and a sad heart that we were informed this morning of the murder of our dear and beloved friend Elchanan Klein. In the difficult war that the people of Israel are facing, Einav lost a humble, welcoming, happy, heroic and giving man who had a great impact on everyone around him. The entire community is mourning with the family for the terrible loss."

Three days ago, there was a shooting attack near the scene of today's attack, which ended without casualties. The terrorist who carried out the previous attack turned himself in.
