Combating Palestinian incitement: Interior Minister Arbel today published a memorandum on the revocation of Israeli citizenship for citizens who incited terrorism or expressed support for terrorism in time of war.

According to the memorandum of law prepared by the legal advisor to the Population Authority, it is proposed to ease the process of revocation of citizenship for those who supported terrorism, incited or showed identification with a terrorist organization, at a time when a special situation has been declared on the home front due to the special severity that accompanies the commission of these acts during wartime.

The legislation follows the decision of the ministers of interior and justice to advance the issue. After the end of the publication period for public comments, the law will be advanced in the Knesset.

Interior Minister Arbel: "This war is not Israel's war, it is the war of the entire free world. Of people who want to live in peace, in a good life. This bill seeks to say in a clear voice to anyone who supports the Nazis of Hamas that they are not part of us."

Last week the police detained for questioning Arab actress Maysa Abdel Hadi, who participated in Israeli series and films, on suspicion of publishing posts on social networks expressing support for Hamas, and praising and rejoicing over the horrific massacre of civilians near the Gaza Strip by the terrorist organization.

For example, on a video showing an abducted elderly woman, she wrote: "This is the adventure of her life," alongside laughing emojis, and on a picture of the tractor that broke through the fence, she wrote: "Let's do this Berlin style."
