The increased basket of benefits for reservists will be submitted to the government for approval following an agreement between Defense Minister Yoav Galant, the IDF, and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.

As part of the discussions between the sides, it was decided that NIS 8 billion would be allocated for grants and increased payments to reservists. The summary relates to soldiers in reserve service who were drafted under Order 7 as of October <> and to soldiers who volunteered for reserve service, and includes entitlements in addition to those given to reserve soldiers in routine situations.
Parents of children up to the age of 14 will receive more
As part of the benefits basket that will be submitted to the government for approval, reservists will be granted a one-time grant of up to NIS 1,100, accumulated from the eighth day of reserve duty and in the form of NIS 70 per day.
In addition, a servant who is a parent of children up to the age of 14 will receive an additional grant of NIS 2,000. The grant will be given to those who served in the war for eight days or more.
The daily minimum wage will be increased
In addition, the minimum amount to be paid to servants per day was increased during the war by 40% to NIS 300 per day, which benefits low-wage or unemployed servants. This is an additional NIS 2,500 for a month of reserve duty.

The IDF, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Finance agreed that the payment of reserve compensation for service under Order 8 would be paid monthly on a regular basis, and not at the end of service. The benefits will be paid, to self-employed reservists and non-employees, to the bank account as reported in the National Insurance systems automatically and without the need to file a claim.
The reserve benefits for salaried employees will be paid to the employers, as opposed to filing a claim by the employer, without the need to attach Form 3010.
