German Interior Minister Nancy Pfizer announced today that she would ban any activity related to Hamas or support for the organization within Germany's borders. This is a significant step that expresses clear support for the State of Israel in the struggle against the terrorist organization.
"Today I completely banned any activity related to Hamas or any activity that calls for the destruction of the State of Israel," the German interior minister said. In addition, other organizations calling for attacks on Israel or solidarity with Hamas were banned.

In conversations with Israelis who are in Berlin, they say: "There are specific areas that are less recommended to go to, but in general - there is no fear, the police manage to maintain order, there are no demonstrations against Israel or unpleasant feelings, there are feelings of support for Israel, we feel comfortable, we were not afraid to fly here, Israelis are not afraid here."
Germany is known as a country that has stood by Israel since the beginning of the fighting. The German chancellor visited Israel in the first days of the war, it is forbidden to hold demonstrations in support of Hamas in Germany, and the police there treat the issue severely.
On the other hand, there are many demonstrations in support of Israel in Germany, some of which drew some 30,<> supporters, including senior German government officials, as well as senior officials in the Berlin municipality, where large pro-Israel demonstrations were held.
