Avivit Bar Zohar announced today (Thursday) an exciting initiative of herself and her good friend to distribute shopping coupons to families who have encountered financial difficulties due to the security situation and are unable to feed their children. In a series of stories posted on her Instagram account, she spoke about her heart being upset by the situation and offered to help.

"Unfortunately, we are in a very difficult period for the State of Israel. Regardless of the political and security situation we are going through, at this time there are many families who forget them. At this time, some families have nothing to eat. At this time, there are families who don't have the basic things to feed their children, and it's so severe that it burns in my heart," Bar Zohar shared.
She went on to detail how she intends to help from her humble place. "Maybe I can't change the world, but I have a good friend, Tom John, and Tom is a guy that the more God gives him, the more He helps. So we bought coupons, 400 shekels each for 50 families. I would be happy if you would contact me privately, quietly, no one needs to know. It's a project we've just started, so so far I only have 50 families, unfortunately. I'm not an association, not yet. You can contact me privately. Pick-up will be from Rehovot. I hope Tom and I can help as many families as possible."
