They also dealt with the question of transferring fuel to the Gaza Strip, after the chief of staff said that "if necessary, we will transfer fuel to hospitals in the Gaza Strip."
Regarding aid to the Gaza Strip, in recent days there have been softening talks between the prime minister and cabinet ministers in which he explained the importance of humanitarian gestures in order to soften criticism of the measure. However, parts of the cabinet continue to oppose the aid without compensation.

In light of the growing American pressure to bring fuel into the Gaza Strip, Ben-Gvir will demand a cabinet vote on the issue. Earlier today, the IDF chief of staff said that "if necessary, fuel will be transferred to hospitals in the Gaza Strip, we will monitor it." The prime minister later denied these intentions and claimed that no fuel would be brought in due to the fear that it would leak into Hamas hands.
