Following the rise in anti-Semitism and incitement and violent incidents against Israelis and Jews around the world following the "Iron Swords" war, the National Security Council and the Foreign Ministry jointly issued a special travel warning today in which the bodies call on the Israeli public to consider the necessity of any flight abroad.
"In recent weeks, against the backdrop of the Iron Swords War, the NSC and the Foreign Ministry have witnessed a significant increase in manifestations of anti-Semitism and incitement alongside life-threatening violent attacks against Israelis and Jews around the world," the statement read. "These incidents are taking place in many countries around the world, including countries for which there is no travel warning in the context of terrorism."

The statement added that Jewish communities and religious and community institutions (such as synagogues, kosher restaurants and Israeli businesses), such as Israeli missions and airports from which flights take off and land from Israel, are a major target of anti-Semitic elements for protests and attempts to harm. For this reason, the NSC calls for its recommendations on the necessary conduct of Israeli citizens abroad.
