Bold action inside the Gaza Strip: The IDF Spokesperson confirmed today (Friday) that infantry, engineering and armored forces under the command of the Givati Brigade have recently taken over a military stronghold of the Hamas terrorist organization in the northern Gaza Strip. As part of the raid, operational orders, operational maps, media and intelligence information found in the terrorist organization's stronghold of control in Jabaliya were seized.
The military stronghold was used by the Nukhba terrorists and Hamas' operational intelligence headquarters in the Jabaliya area. After taking over the terrorist stronghold, the fighters conducted extensive searches and located intelligence information, including the terrorist organization's operational orders on October 7, operational maps, command and control tables, means of communication, and personal details of commanders and terrorists from the Hamas terrorist organization.

The materials are being investigated by 162nd Division intelligence and other elements and will be used by the IDF in the continuation of the fighting.
The commander of the Givati Patrol, Lieutenant Colonel Z., praised the forces: "The Givati Brigade raided Gaza City. During the raid, together with the 196th Armored Battalion, the unit entered the stronghold itself, fought fierce battles with terrorists, killed quite a few, destroyed shafts, underground and brought important intelligence materials. We will continue to raid your strongholds and kill you in the shafts, underground and wherever you wait for us."

Earlier, Defense Minister Yoav Galant held an operational assessment of the situation in the Southern Command this evening, with the participation of senior officials such as Deputy Chief of Staff Baram and Southern Command Commander Finkelman, in which he was presented with the activity of the forces as part of the ground operation in the Gaza Strip and the preparations for the continuation of the fighting on the ground.

Galant said, "The forces continue and advance according to plan and hit the enemy with force. The systematic targeting of Hamas terrorists deepens the achievements and will increase."
