The price of supporting Hamas? Israel has stopped coordinating its alleged attacks on Syrian territory with the Russian defense establishment, the American newspaper Bloomberg reported on Friday, citing sources in Israel's defense establishment.
According to the text, Israel has stopped warning the Russian defense establishment, which maintains a large expeditionary force in Syria operating from bases of the Assad regime, of alleged attacks on bases, airports and air defense systems in the country.

The report attributed to Israel at least two attacks on regime facilities, one near the southern city of Daraa on October 30 and another on Syrian army radar systems and an attack on a base where Hezbollah terrorists integrated into the Syrian army were staying. According to Bloomberg, the airstrikes, along with the lack of coordination with the Russian force on the ground, further strain relations between Jerusalem and Moscow, which are at an unprecedented low since Hamas' terrorist attack on the communities near the Gaza Strip.
Relations between Russia and Israel deteriorated further yesterday when Russia's ambassador to the United Nations General Assembly, Vassily Nebenzia, declared that Israel has no right to self-defense in its fight against the Hamas terrorist organization because it is an "occupying state."
"Israel, as an occupying power, does not have the right of self-defense in its confrontation with Hamas, as stated in a memorandum by the International Court of Justice in 2004," the ambassador said during a special session of the UN General Assembly on the fighting in Gaza.
