Reversing the trend? The American news network CNN reported Friday morning that there are growing voices in the US administration to act for a ceasefire in the fighting in the Gaza Strip and that Israel has "a few weeks, not months" to operate inside the Gaza Strip.
According to the report, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken made it clear in recent talks with their Israeli counterparts that the erosion of support for Israel in the administration would have a "devastating consequence" on Israel's military operation against Hamas.
