Likud faction leader Aliza Brashi sent a photocopy of an article in a group of Likud MKs talking about the Rosh Yeshiva calling for donations to Avrachim instead of soldiers, and wrote, "These are we sitting with, shame."
Brashi is considered one of the oldest members of the party and has run the faction for many years. She is considered the "Iron Lady" in the party, and as the publisher and convener of members of the Likud faction in the Knesset.

In 2009, she was involved in an incident with then-party MK Orly Levi-Abekasis, in which she referred to her as "Farha."
