Actor Moshe Ashkenazi, who just over a month ago moved to Thailand with his family, has remained silent since the war began, broke down on Wednesday and addressed his Instagram followers.

"It's been a month since I remain silent, horrified every day anew by the sights and the terrible massacre we went through, I'm not in Israel, somehow fate wanted and we moved to Thailand for a year, exactly two days before Black Saturday. On October 5th we landed here innocently, on October 6th we were still celebrating marriage, and on October 7th life turned upside down.

"So in the midst of this whole period I'm filming a documentary about the move, I dreamed of sharing with you happy, beautiful and family pieces, but I choose to share with you an intimate moment of mine from last week. A moment when I broke down. So many stories, names, people I knew. The heart hurts. The heart burns even from afar, and perhaps more. I am connected all the time and know every detail. It's impossible not to. I send from here a lot of love and encouragement to my dear people of Israel, send condolences to the families of the murdered, send a huge hug to the families of the abductees. Wishing like everyone else that they would return home already. How can this be done? I am strengthening our army.

"I wish I was in Israel to make you happy. It eats me that I'm not with you to raise morale. I'm already working on something from here and will update later. Good news, love. May we only be together strong, united and overcome all our enemies. I love you guys and miss you. The people of Israel are alive."
