Brazil's federal police on Wednesday launched an operation to dismantle organizations suspected of planning to attack Jews in the country, including Hezbollah operatives. Among other things, the same organizations also planned to recruit Brazilian citizens to carry out some of the terrorist attacks.
During the day, local police raided 11 different addresses where terrorist activity took place. Two temporary arrest warrants were also issued against suspects. In a statement today, police said those who recruit and those who recruit face up to 15 <>/<> years in prison.
