Syrian media reported on Wednesday evening three explosions in the Damascus area and the activation of defense systems in the area. The Syrian army says that at around 22:50 p.m., Israel launched an airstrike from Lebanon on several military targets in the southern part of the country, leading to destruction in those places.

However, media affiliated with the Assad regime have not yet commented on the incident, and a radio station affiliated with the regime reports that the source of the explosions is still unclear.
