The Kiryat Shmona municipality announced today (Wednesday) with great sorrow that Meir Moyal is the civilian killed by Hezbollah anti-tank fire on the northern border last Sunday. Meir was a resident of the city, 55 years old at the time of his death. He was killed while on a mission for the state and the army. Meir served for many years on the Lebanese border and Har Dov.
The municipality said that following instructions from the Home Front Command, a small funeral will be held in the presence of family members only. The family asks that this be respected and not attend the funeral. Starting tomorrow, the family will sit shiva at 9 <>th Street in the city of Tiberias.

Earlier today, two IDF soldiers sustained minor and moderate injuries when an anti-tank missile fired into the Har Dov area was hit. The fighters were treated in the field and evacuated to hospital for medical treatment. The IDF responded with artillery fire at the sources of fire in Lebanon.
About two weeks ago, a 40-year-old civilian was killed and three other men sustained light to moderate injuries after Hezbollah terrorists fired an anti-tank missile at a construction site in Moshav Shtula.
