After another strong quarter, the outdoor advertising specialist Ströer expects continued momentum in the coming months. "The double-digit organic growth in year-end bookings, which exceeded our previous expectations, suggests a positive development at the beginning of the new year," said co-CEO Christian Schmalzl on Thursday.
Cologne - The order book for outdoor advertising in the fourth quarter is already significantly full, it said. In the months of July to September, sales rose by 11 percent year-on-year to 484 million euros. Of this, 147 million euros were left before special items, interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) - an increase of more than a tenth.
The Cologne-based MDAX Group benefited from significant growth in its digital out-of-home advertising. "The Board of Directors expects this development to continue," it said. In addition to the marketing of outdoor advertising and other advertising materials, Ströer also operates the news portal "T-Online". Dpa
