One of the most influential factors in choosing a destination during this period is the sense of security. The tourism companies understand this and the fact that Israelis are expected to include in their considerations the support of those countries we want to fly to in Israel.

Tourism industry executives put Hungary, Romania, Poland, Bulgaria and Germany at the top of the list of expected preferences, but not only them. In conversations with people in the industry who are preparing for the day after, it is understood that various destinations in Asia, such as Japan and South Korea, are also expected to become attractive due to the support of the street and the Israeli governments.
The visa exemption to the United States is expected to cause quite a few Israelis to choose the country as their next vacation destination, despite manifestations of anti-Semitism in various places there, according to estimates in the tourism industry. Regarding next summer, the chances that we will see a large number of Israelis in Turkey, Sinai, Morocco and Jordan are low, and they will be replaced by other islands in Greece, Cyprus and, as mentioned, Bulgaria, which shows clear support for Israel.

Other destinations where demand is expected to decline, according to the sources, are Western European destinations, with an emphasis on London, Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels, destinations where Palestinian support is felt in the streets. Another destination that has been mentioned more than once in conversations with people in the tourism industry is Portugal, where many Israelis also feel relatively safe, although this is a distant destination, with few flights and the chances that demand will be as high as Eastern European destinations are low.
