Ireland has disappeared again: The Committee on the Status of Women, headed by MK Pnina Tamano-Shteh, invited the Knesset on Monday to discuss the massacre on the occasion of the Day of the Struggle against Violence against Women, embassies stationed in Israel from all over the world. During the conference, the embassy is even expected to watch the video of the atrocities, but it turns out that the Irish ambassador, who was invited and confirmed to attend the conference, did not attend the conference. The conference is attended by the Embassy of Malta, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Nepal, Canada, Spain, Kosovo, Finland, Guatemala, Panama and Albania.
Likud MK Eliyahu Revivo defiantly sat down in her chair and said: "Where is the Irish ambassador? Lost?" – to paraphrase her prime minister who said Emily Hand, the kidnapped girl, "got lost in Gaza."
Following the statement, Foreign Minister Eli Cohen summoned the ambassador for a reprimand.

We need to show the world what Hamas has done to these women and their families. It's a crime. Whoever attacked Israeli women attacked all women, and whoever attacked Israel attacked all the democracies in the world. We must ensure that there will never be an October inauguration again."
