IDF forces attacked a Hamas terror tunnel where commanders from the terrorist organization were hiding under civilian homes and near the Indonesian hospital. Under the intelligence guidance of the Shin Bet and Military Intelligence, the forces eliminated the commander of the northern Gaza Strip Brigade, Ahmed Ghandour, deputy commander of the brigade, Wael Rajab and other senior figures, including the commander of the brigade's assistance battalion, the head of the Labor and Labor Directorate, and the head of observations in the northern Gaza Strip.

Ahmad Ghandour served as a member of the military wing's small council. Ghandour was responsible for directing and managing all terrorist activities carried out by the Hamas terrorist organization in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Gaza City Brigade is the largest brigade in the Hamas terrorist organization. In Gaza City there are many military outposts as well as production sites and weapons depots in the heart of the civilian population. Gaza City is a prominent example of Hamas' use of the civilian population as human shields.

In the Shati Battalion sector, IDF forces took over major strongholds. The battalion is responsible for Hamas' central headquarters, including Hamas headquarters at Shifaa Hospital, whose underground infrastructure was thwarted. In addition, the brigade's anti-tank commander, the air system commander and the naval system supervisor were eliminated.
