Incredibly: A new video revealed today (Sunday) showed a lion found by IDF soldiers at the Gaza Zoo, who are currently in the Gaza Strip as part of their fight against the "Iron Swords" war.
In footage circulated on social media, the lion can be seen wandering around the abandoned zoo, with cries of "Assad" – lion in Arabic – in the background. Later, a voice was heard in Hebrew, "Don't move, baby, we'll take care of you," apparently spoken by one of the soldiers.

Watch: IDF fighters find lion in Gaza Strip, use under Section 27A of the Copyright Law
Following the discovery, the fighters decided to turn to the Nature and Parks Authority, which in turn turned to the IDF to see if it was militarily feasible to rescue him from the Gaza Strip. The authority said, "If the military decides that this is feasible, we intend to assist as much as possible in the veterinary and therapeutic process, including searching for an alternative shelter for the lion. We understand that the zoo also has hyenas and jackals, and if the army decides that this is possible, we will help with everything related to them as well."
