An autopsy of the actor whose body was found in a pool at his home recorded that his death occurred due to an "unknown extent of drug use." Prescription drugs were also found in his residence, but the report noted that they were not found near the scene of death.

Actor Matthew Perry, known as Chandler from the iconic comedy series Friends, has died at the age of 54. He was found dead at his home in Los Angeles. According to TMZ.com website, the star was found dead inside the hot tub.
Perry is considered one of the most recognizable actors in the world, mainly due to being one of the cast members of the successful sitcom, the popular sitcom that was considered one of the most beloved series in the history of American television. He played for it from 1994 until it ended in 2004.
Alongside a successful television career, he struggled for many years with various drug and alcohol addictions. In October of last year, he released an autobiography, in which he revealed various disturbing details from the filming of the series. "I could handle it, sort of, but by the time I was 34 I was in a lot of trouble," he wrote, adding that at one point in his life he would take 55 pills of the painkiller Vicodin a day and weigh 58 kilograms. Perry visited rehab 15 times and underwent 14 abdominal surgeries due to his addictions.
