Earlier today, new details from the initial investigation were revealed, indicating that the abductees raised a white cloth and shouts of "help" were heard in Hebrew.

In addition, the incident took place in an area where there were no civilians, and where most of the people identified as civilians are terrorists trying to harm our forces. At the same time, in recent days the forces have encountered cases in which terrorists tried to trap them. According to a senior source, the IDF was not aware of such a scenario in which they could see abductees walking around. A few dozen meters separated the force from the 17th Battalion from the building where the abductees were staying.

Meanwhile, Samer al-Talalqah, 25, from the village of Hura, was laid to rest earlier today at the cemetery near Shoket Junction in the Negev.

Some 1500 friends and families came to say goodbye to the young man who was kidnapped on Black Saturday, and his tragic death 70 days later only added to his family's pain. A family friend said: "Samer was a good person. A normal person, he is interested in work, earning a living and returning home."
