Following information about Hamas terrorists hiding inside the schools, yesterday (Friday) fighters from the 401st Brigade Combat Team and Shayetet 13, commanded by the 162nd Division, raided the Al-Mu'tasem Allah and Al-Farabi schools where Hamas terrorists were hiding in the Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City.

The forces eliminated terrorists in battles that took place in the area. In addition, terrorists hiding inside schools surrendered and were arrested. At the same time, in the Khan Yunis area, forces of the 4th Brigade Combat Team raided a series of operational apartments. The fighters found large quantities of weapons and underground infrastructure used by the terrorists in the apartments.

The reserve fighters of the 551st Brigade Combat Team identified the movement of a number of Hamas terrorists on the roof of a building from which shots were fired at the forces in the Jabaliya area. They directed an Israeli Air Force aircraft, which attacked and destroyed the building.
