The Likud said in response to Finance Minister Smotrich's tweet: "It is unfortunate that the Finance Minister chose to tweet baseless remarks. Prime Minister Netanyahu has already instructed the Mossad to eliminate senior Hamas figures wherever they are, just as he instructed the finance minister to open the taps and ensure that the funds reach civilians, businesses, evacuees, soldiers and reservists."
Religious Zionism said in response to the Likud's announcement: "The only taps the prime minister tried to pressure the finance minister to open all kinds of combinations are those intended to funnel funds to the Palestinian Authority so that it will transfer them to Hamas in Gaza. It's good that the finance minister stood in the breach and set a red line."
