In the interview, Yitzhak said: "These are problems of infrastructure, and dramatic problems in public buildings. Just this week there were two anti-tank hits in the dining room, and this is the heart of the kibbutz, the entire club and the grocery store, they are in the same building. These two injuries caused a lot of damage to the ceiling and walls, I don't know how much to say that property taxes don't send the appraisers, because they're not allowed to come – the longer it goes on, the more the damage is added and there are cracks in the foundations of the buildings."
Yitzhak spoke with Minister Orit Struk about the rehabilitation budgets and assistance to the northern communities. She explained that Manara is not like other settlements, since the settlement was actually destroyed, and it will take many months to rehabilitate it and bring back the residents. "The Takuma Administration does not deal with communities in the north. We are helpless, we have no address. Takuma for sure said it wasn't their job. Part of the amount goes through the division. The money of a period cannot be used by the residents of the north, and there is no regulated plan. She certainly understands the plight. Some of the things are completely on the minister's desk, but what she's saying is that there's the money, she's not writing the checks right now because there are bureaucratic problems," Yitzhak said.
