Difficult weekend in Gaza: The names of five fallen IDF soldiers whose families who fell in battle in the Gaza Strip were notified. Two other soldiers were seriously wounded.
Names of the Fallen
- Staff Sgt. Nir Rafael Kananian, 20, from Beit Keshet, a soldier in the Givati Patrol, fell yesterday in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
- Staff Sergeant Birhanu Kassie, 22, from Beit Shemesh, a soldier in the Givati Patrol, fell yesterday in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
- Staff Sgt. (res.) Shay Termin, 26, from Rosh Pina, a soldier in Battalion 6623, the Spearhead Division (55), fell yesterday in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.

- Sergeant Major (res.) Alexander Shpits, 41, from Karmiel, a soldier in Battalion 6623, the "Spearhead" Brigade (55), fell yesterday in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
- Captain Oshri Moshe Butzhak, 22, from Haifa, a team commander in the Nahal Patrol, fell in battle today in the northern Gaza Strip.
