Highlights: "I have a friend who flew abroad so as not to enlist in the reserves, and I understand him," Einav Bublil told Israel Hayom. "You know if you're going to fight, maybe fifty percent you won't come back," she said. "It's crazy what they're doing for us. They know that they may die and leave widows and orphans, and the main thing is to protect us. Uncaught! What a generation of heroes! I am proud to be an Israeli," she concluded.

The reality TV refugee, now a leading internet personality, told in a controversial post about a fellow fighter of hers who left the country to avoid reserve duty • "You know if you're going to fight, maybe fifty percent you won't come back," she said

Einav Bublil asked last night (on the night between Sunday and Monday) to convey a message about the heroism of the fighters among the people of Israel and spoke about the sense of pride that fills her as an Israeli these days. But even before that, she gave two examples from her personal life about her two fellow warriors who decided to behave completely differently when an iron sword war broke out.

"You know, I have a combat friend who flew abroad at the beginning of the war because he said, 'I don't want to be drafted, I'm afraid to die and leave my children orphaned.' And I have a friend who volunteered in the reserves, even though they gave him a medical exemption, and said, 'I don't mind dying, the main thing is to defend my country,'" Boublil was quoted as saying by the two during conversations with her.

"I can understand both, of course," she said decisively, and then immediately explained why: "Because you know that if you're going to fight, maybe fifty percent you won't come back. It's crazy what they're doing for us. They know that they may die and leave widows and orphans, and the main thing is to protect us. Uncaught! What a generation of heroes! I am proud to be an Israeli and a Jew in the holy land of Israel," she concluded.
