After several foreign airlines announced last week that they were resuming their flights to Israel, they are now joined by another airline.
Air Seychelles expects to resume direct flights to and from Israel as early as February 6, 2024, according to a report by the airline to tourism suppliers in Israel. The airline has even begun marketing its flights that exist in the agents' systems.

The reason for Air Seychelles' expected return to Israel is the growing demand for flights, which has been felt in recent weeks. Air Seychelles will operate direct flights on the Tel Aviv-Mahe route, with the possibility of connecting flights to Mauritius, two destinations considered highly sought-after, which are some of the most beautiful islands in the world.
According to current information, the airline is expected to operate two flights a week, and prices are currently hovering around $700 for round-trip flights. Seychelles and Mauritius are defined as risk level 1, the lowest by the National Security Council. Both destinations are characterized by warm tropical weather throughout the year, with pleasant temperatures for beach recreation and calm seas most of the year. Its temperature is also suitable for bathing for most of the year.
Tali Yativ, CEO of Spirit World Productions, said: "Spirit is currently operating flights to various destinations around the world. Following the requests of many Israelis who want to go on an exotic vacation and take a short break, we decided to build packages suitable for the difficult period in order to gather strength to continue and return strengthened. Seychelles and Mauritius are not dangerous countries and are considered very safe for Israelis. They appreciate Israeli tourism and are even waiting for Israeli tourists to come and vacation there. During the Jewish holidays, special and exclusive flights are expected to depart for Spirit, Seychelles and Mauritius."
