In his decision, the judge expressed his displeasure with the continuation of the military police's interrogation proceedings, without sufficient reason. After discussing the evidence, the judge ruled that even today there is "reasonable suspicion of the suspicion attributed to the suspect." Frige's defense team said: "Frija consistently insists that he did not shoot the deceased at any point while raising his hands, but was convinced that the deceased was the third terrorist at the scene, that the incident was still active, and that the deceased was still endangering him and the civilians at the scene."
