A short time ago (Tuesday), a report was received at MDA's 101 hotline in the Sharon area about a vehicle on fire on Rabbi Yitzhak Ben Hanan Street in Netanya. MDA medics and paramedics report that after the firefighting operations, the body of a man with no signs of life was found in the vehicle and pronounced him dead.

MDA emergency medic Oren Hadad said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw the vehicle on fire. Firefighters worked to extinguish the fire and when they could get closer, we found the body of a man inside the vehicle with no signs of life and we had no choice but to pronounce him dead."

The police have now opened an investigation, and the remains of an item of salt have been seized by a police sapper. Meanwhile, the police sapper examined the remains of the item, along with scanning the site to remove any further risk to the public, and at the end of the activity transferred the findings to the Israel Police forensic laboratories for further extraction, as part of an investigation opened to examine the background and circumstances.
