In a lawsuit filed last week in the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court for NIS 1 million, it was claimed that Bar-Zohar did not meet its obligations under the agreement and that it sells the product but does not transfer consideration to its partner, Odeya Bar. In the lawsuit, partner Bar claims that thousands of pairs of lenses worth millions of shekels were transferred to Bar-Zohar.

Theft complaint

"Bar-Zohar sells in stores in a number of locations and places in Israel," it was claimed, "and the plaintiff has unequivocal evidence that lenses are sold these days, when the invoices of the sales are issued in the name of Bar-Zohar without any consideration being transferred to Odya Bar, while the merchandise was purchased from the best of her money and sold without a permit, allegedly theft. The defendant sells the plaintiff's exclusive property on its websites, while taking the funds and taking them into her own pocket." Meanwhile, a police complaint was also filed against Bar-Zohar, alleging theft.

Odeya Bar, 21, opened the business under the name "Contact Color" alone and out of her own pocket when she was only 20 years old, and Bar-Zohar entered as a partner only after it was founded. As a result of the conflict, her business operations were halted.

Attorney Tal Shahar said on Bar-Zohar's behalf: "This is a baseless lawsuit that has nothing but an attempt to build on Avivit's reputation and try to extract money from her illegally – and the attempt will fail. The lawsuit will be clarified in court and all of the plaintiff's claims will be refuted. The lawsuit is a waste of time and nothing more."
