Four buildings in the Yefe Nof neighborhood of Kfar Yona were cut off from gas today (Friday). The gas flames of residents engaged in cooking were suddenly extinguished, and the smell of gas began. One of the residents checked the gas connection in the closet and discovered that someone had cut the gas pipes and sabotaged the gas supply to the four buildings.

The occupants called the police and a gas technician to deal with the sabotage. The police are investigating whether Arab construction workers working nearby cut the gas pipelines on nationalist grounds.
"Suddenly, the gas disappeared and a strong smell of gas began to spread through the building," said one resident. "Someone went to check and found that they had cut the pipes and left a Palestinian flag. Cut off the connection of two accumulators supplying gas to the four buildings. The neighbors are frightened. It could have ended in disaster. If a lot of gas had spread, there could have been an explosion."
