According to the report, which has no confirmation from other sources, most of the command of the IRGC and other pro-Iranian militias in eastern Syria were killed in the attack. The Saudi channel also claimed that the commander of Iran's forces in eastern Syria, North Rashid, was wounded in the attack. It did not say if he was killed. In addition, it was said that the attack focused on a delegation that landed at the airport and met with other senior officials.
