Highlights: 22 Knesset members write to US President Joe Biden. They say they are "eager to know the sources of information on which your statements and accusations are based" The MKs are members of the lobby to combat anti-Semitism and delegitimization. They note that "the scope of these incidents is very limited. This is a small number of isolated incidents, which pales in contrast to the much larger scale of violent incidents perpetrated by Palestinians against residents of these Jewish communities"

In a letter from 22 Knesset members, they acknowledge the support of the United States, but claim that there has actually been a decline in the phenomenon • "eager to know the sources of information on which your statements and accusations are based"

22 Knesset members turn to US President Joe Biden and ask what he was basing himself on when he determined that there is a phenomenon of violence against Palestinian residents of the West Bank, perpetrated by Israelis living in Judea and Samaria. "We would like to express our gratitude, on behalf of the people of Israel, for your steadfast support for the State of Israel during these difficult times," write the MKs who are members of the lobby to combat anti-Semitism and delegitimization. The person who initiated the letter was the chairman of the lobby, MK Ariel Kellner (Likud), after Israel Hayom revealed that, contrary to reports of an increase in incidents, there is actually a fifty percent drop.

"As members of the Israeli Knesset and the Committee to Combat Anti-Semitism and Delegitimization, we condemn violence against innocent civilians." However, the MKs add, "You called on our government to deal with the 'phenomenon.' We are eager to know the sources of information on which your statements and accusations against the residents of these Jewish communities are based."

They note that "the data available to us indicate that the scope of these incidents is very limited. This is a small number of isolated incidents, which pales in contrast to the much larger scale of violent incidents perpetrated by Palestinians against residents of these Jewish communities."
