An unusual incident occurred on a violing flight to Ibiza, when the pilot apologized to passengers on the public address system and informed them that they expected to take off late, according to the report on Simpleflying. He explained the reason for the late takeoff and said that the pilots were still learning how to operate the plane.
The incident took place last Thursday on a flight taking off from Barcelona to Ibiza, and according to Spanish media, this is what told passengers: "I am sorry to inform you that we will take off a little late. We'll take off late because the co-pilot and I are still reading the operating instructions for the plane to figure out how to make it take off, but take care, I think we'll succeed."

The pilot's strange announcement greatly worried the passengers sitting on the plane of the Spanish low-cost airline, but later the reason for the very strange announcement by the pilots was understood. This is a Spanish holiday marked on December 28, when it is customary to perform various stretches, similar to April <>st.
The worried passengers later realized that it was indeed a joke and the plane eventually took off about ten minutes late from Barcelona and landed safely in Ibiza. This is not the first time Spanish pilots have stretched passengers on this date and in 2018 a similar incident occurred on a local Iberia flight from Madrid to Vigo, when before landing the pilot announced that they had to change the route, which of course turned out to be incorrect and part of the pilot's joke.
