Last week, fighters from the 401st Brigade's combat team, operating under the 16th Division, fought in Daraj Tufah in the northern Gaza Strip. The brigade's fighters raided military outposts and the homes of senior officials and eliminated dozens of anti-tank squads.
During the fighting, following the receipt of intelligence about the presence of a terrorist squad in the building, a force from the Shaked Battalion searched the area and carried out a raid on the building, during which it encountered several terrorists and a shootout ensued, at the end of which the fighters eliminated the terrorists.
As part of the searches, the battalion fighters found a professional camera of a Hamas terrorist with which he documented the terrorist organization's activity from their eyes. The terrorist was eliminated by IDF forces. Using the photographic materials collected by the terrorists, it is possible to see the method of firing anti-tank missiles, the nature of the enemy's activity in buildings, and the gathering of intelligence against our forces.
A video extracted from the camera shows a Hamas terrorist saying: "Thank God we eliminated three Merkava tanks." Then he cuts his friend who looks at the camera lens and brags: "Thank God our Lord has honored us, blessed be God. We destroyed three vehicles, which we destroyed comprehensively, thank God, and if we had more Type 105 shells, we would have hit more than three."
