British professor Malcolm Shaw is the man who represented Israel at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Kan News first reported on Thursday.
Shaw, 76, is an expert with extensive experience in international law, human rights and adjudication of territorial disputes, who previously studied for a master's degree at the Hebrew University, where he taught a course in recent years.
The report comes after South Africa filed a lawsuit with the International Criminal Court about a week ago, alleging that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. In response to the filing of the lawsuit, the Foreign Ministry issued a statement: "Blood libel, collaborating with a terrorist organization."
